NEWS:
For the Third year in a row, we have received a nomination for "Best Pantomime in District 3" at the West Midlands NODA awards. Which we won.
Our signed performance was a storming success once again. But During the Pantomime, we lost Chris Hill ( Company Secretary and Treasurer, Producer ) she was one of the people who has been there from the very beginning. She has been one of the people who created what this company stands for. Chris will be sadly missed.
In March We were ready to defend the titles we won at the North Staffs One Act Play Festival. But along came CORONAVIRUS, and that has changed what DE Caversmill has done. DE Caversmill has done what it does best, comes together as a family. We created a COVID 19 Group. Weekly Chat Nights, Weekly Quiz nights, Games shows, Q & A Sessions. All this to keep everyone motivated, and for those who have struggled this has been essential.
We have still managed to do rehearsals via zoom for Murder Mystery, so when they get the go ahead they will be able to perform at The Red House , Caverswall.
At this moment we still don’t know if panto will go ahead, but we are ready to go as soon as it looks like we can perform at The Rep.
We can't wait to see what the next 12 months will bring.
